04Usage

A few quiet rules.

Place the marks on dark surfaces. The warmth of the paper type and the depth of the ink canvas are the brand; moving the mark to a bright background weakens both.

Preserve the italic ember on the X. The color is structural, not decorative. Substituting it for a different accent changes the signal.

Do not lock the wordmark against imagery unless there is real negative space. When in doubt, use the square mark.
